Ten things we hold ourselves to. Print it, pin it, hold us to it.
Every brokerage has a values page. Most of them were written by a marketing agency in an afternoon and have never once changed a decision. This one is different in only one way: it is written as promises, and every promise has a way to catch us breaking it. That is on purpose. A value you cannot be held to is a decoration.
Including "we don't know yet," "that house is overpriced," "you should wait," and "we're not there yet." If the honest answer costs us a commission, we give the honest answer. You will never wonder whether we are telling you what is true or what closes.
Text or call with a question and you hear back within fifteen minutes. That is the 15-Minute Response Rule™, and it is a rule, not a goal. The biggest transaction of your life should not go quiet for three days because somebody was at a showing.
Sign a listing agreement with us and your home is photographed, marketed and live on the MLS within three business days. That is the 3-Day Listing Guarantee™. We cannot promise a sale price or a closing date; nobody can. We promise the parts we control, in writing.
Deaf, hard-of-hearing, blind, low-vision and neurodivergent clients get the transaction built around what works for them, at no extra cost and without having to ask twice. Every agent here has the tools and knows the process. We think this should be normal, so we are treating it as normal.
One percent of Winner Realty's net profits goes to Hand in Hand Ministries every year, as a standing line in how the company runs, the same way payroll is. Agents can match it on their own closings. The goal we are building toward is one new Hand in Hand home a month, funded by our giving alone, forever. We are not there yet. Ask us how close we are.
How many agents we have, how many transactions Colleen has closed, what we give, what an agent keeps. If a number is on this site it is true and it is current, and if it changes we change it. We would rather you know exactly how big we are than guess.
Our whole philosophy for the people who work here is three words long. Give agents the tools, the deals, the data and the support, then get out of their way. Nobody here has to push you toward a decision to make rent, because nobody here is treated like inventory.
Eight agents, each with something they are the best in the building at, is a different thing from eighty agents with the same headshot. When we hand you to a colleague, it is because they are better at that specific thing than we are, and we will tell you why.
Seventy thousand people read The Morning Bergeron before they read the news. We built this brokerage for readers, for people who ask questions no lead form asks, who want to know what a cap rate is, who forward the email to their parents. If you want to understand what you are doing and why, you are our favorite kind of client.
The Stockdale Paradox: hold the brutal facts about where you are and unwavering faith about where you are going, both at once. It is how we run the company, how we talk to sellers about price, and how we talk to first-year agents about year two. A win is a family that closes on time, an agent who makes it, a house in Belize with a family in it.
If any of this is not true on the day you work with us, tell me directly. My cell is (502) 305-8915 and it is the number on every page of this site. Or read why we wrote it first.
